Key responsibilities
- Own application features, code quality, testing, release readiness, and production health for the Software Engineer function.
- Maintain code quality, performance, security, and release confidence through checks, documentation, and follow-up.
- Coordinate with product, design, QA, security, and engineering teams to keep work moving without unclear handoffs.
- Track delivery, reliability, defect, and performance metrics and explain changes, risks, and next steps.
- Improve recurring workflows, templates, reports, or handoff notes used by the team.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience for the Software Engineer role.
- Working knowledge of programming, system design, testing.
- Ability to document decisions, risks, follow-ups, and outcomes clearly.
- Comfort working with product, design, QA, security, and engineering teams.
- Examples of improving code quality, performance, security, and release confidence or reporting on delivery, reliability, defect, and performance metrics.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud services, CI/CD, observability, or security review.
- Examples of improving code quality, test coverage, or deployment safety.
- Comfort with distributed systems, APIs, data stores, or frontend performance when relevant.
- Mentoring, pairing, or technical documentation experience.
