It was founded in 1991 and was originally named Infotech Enterprises Limited before rebranding to Cyient in 2014. The company provides intelligent engineering solutions across product, plant and network engineering, serving more than 300 customers. It works across industries including aerospace and defense, automotive and mobility, connectivity, energy, healthcare and life sciences, mining, rail transportation, semiconductors, and utilities and spatial intelligence. Cyient runs development centers across India, North America, Europe and the APAC region. Its subsidiary Cyient DLM handles electronics manufacturing services and was separately listed in June 2023.
