A: Do a level order traversal and take the last node you see at each depth. A depth-first walk that visits the right child first and records the first node found per depth works just as well.
Q: Implement an LRU cache with constant-time operations.
A: Pair a hash map with a doubly linked list. The map gives O(1) lookup to a node, and the list keeps recency order so you can move a node to the front or drop the tail in constant time.
Q: Calculate how much rainwater can be trapped between elevation bars given an elevation map.
A: Water above any bar is the smaller of the tallest bar to its left and the tallest to its right, minus the bar's own height. Two pointers moving inward compute this in one pass.
Q: Print the first non-repeated character from a string with minimum time complexity.
A: Count every character in one pass, then walk the string again and return the first one whose count is 1. That's O(n) time and O(k) space for the alphabet size.

Google I/O 2026 brings new Gemini models and eighth generation TPUs
