Just Dial Limited, which trades as Justdial, is an Indian local search and business discovery company founded in 1996 by V. S. S. Mani, though the corporate entity was incorporated in December 1993. It is headquartered at Palm Court in Malad West, Mumbai, and runs a search platform that connects users with local businesses and service providers through its website, mobile apps and voice search. The company is listed on both Indian exchanges and has been majority owned by Reliance Retail since July 2021, when Reliance Retail Ventures picked up a 66.95% stake for about INR 3,497 crore.
Beyond core local search, Justdial runs JD Mart, a business to business marketplace for sellers, and sells software and website tools to small merchants under its JD Omni line. In FY26 it reported operating revenue of INR 1,213.9 crore, up 6.3% year on year, with operating EBITDA of INR 357.5 crore and net profit of INR 497 crore. Cash and investments stood at INR 5,852.2 crore at the end of March 2026, and the company carries almost no debt.
The business is being rebuilt around AI. July 2026 brought the biggest leadership change in the company's history: founder V. S. S. Mani steps down as MD and CEO on July 31, 2026, with former Flipkart Wholesale head Dinkar Ayilavarapu taking over as CEO on August 1 and former Reliance Retail group CFO Dinesh Taluja joining as CFO.
