Grab Holdings Limited is a Singapore-headquartered superapp company founded in 2012 in Kuala Lumpur as MyTeksi, now based at 3 Media Close in one-north, Singapore. It runs ride-hailing, food and grocery delivery, parcel delivery, advertising and financial services from a single app across eight Southeast Asian markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar and Cambodia. The company lists on Nasdaq under the ticker GRAB after its December 2021 SPAC merger with Altimeter Growth Corp.
Grab turned the corner financially in 2025. Revenue reached USD 3.37 billion for FY2025, up about 20 percent year on year, and the company posted net income of USD 200 million against a USD 158 million loss in 2024. In the first quarter of 2026 revenue grew 24 percent to USD 955 million with profit of USD 120 million and adjusted EBITDA of USD 154 million, and management reiterated full-year 2026 revenue guidance of USD 4.04 billion to USD 4.10 billion. Market capitalisation stood at about USD 13.7 billion in late July 2026.
Grab employs roughly 12,000 people and hires across the region through its SmartRecruiters careers portal, with the largest volume of openings in Singapore. It has run an India engineering presence since 2017, when it opened an R&D centre in Indira Nagar, Bengaluru, initially for GrabPay payments technology; Bengaluru roles today cover backend, Android, Salesforce platform and finance and people systems engineering. In March 2026 Grab agreed to buy Delivery Hero's foodpanda delivery business in Taiwan for USD 600 million, its ninth market and first outside Southeast Asia.
