Q: What is RDMS (relational database management system)?
A: A relational database management system stores data in tables of rows and columns, and it uses keys and constraints to keep relationships between those tables consistent. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and SQL Server are common examples.
Q: Explain joins, foreign keys and the types of joins.
A: A join combines rows from two tables using a matching column, and a foreign key is the column in one table that points at the primary key of another. The main types are inner, left outer, right outer, full outer and cross joins.
Q: What is testing? What are its types?
A: Testing is checking that software behaves the way it's meant to and finding defects before users do. The usual split is manual versus automated, and functional types like unit, integration, system, regression and acceptance versus non functional types like performance, security and usability.
Q: What main qualities are required for the testing role?
A: Interviewers are looking for attention to detail, curiosity about how things break, clear written communication for bug reports and enough technical depth to automate. Patience and a habit of questioning assumptions matter just as much.

Incedo CEO says India must build its own AI path
Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, CEO Nitin Seth argued India should pursue affordable and trustworthy AI instead of copying US or Chinese models. He also said 35 to 50 percent of all jobs will disappear in the next 15 years, with white collar services roles most at risk.
