Citibank, N.A. is the consumer and institutional banking arm of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C), a New York-based financial services company. Citibank was founded in 1812 as the City Bank of New York, while the modern Citigroup parent was formed in 1998. Citigroup reported revenue of about US$81.14 billion for fiscal year 2024 and employs roughly 229,000 people worldwide.
