G4S is a security services company formed in 2004 when Securicor of London merged with the security business of Denmark's Group 4 Falck. It supplies security personnel, monitoring equipment, response units and secure prisoner transport, and it was the world's largest security company by revenue before Allied Universal bought it. Shareholders accepted the Allied Universal offer, the deal closed in April 2021, and G4S now runs as a subsidiary of the privately held US group rather than a listed company.

In India, G4S is one of the country's largest security solutions groups. The India business employs more than 135,000 people and works from 7 hubs plus over 131 branches and area offices. The main legal entity, G4S Secure Solutions (India) Private Limited, was incorporated on 23 March 1988, is registered in New Delhi, and reported revenue of INR 3,274.4 crore with net profit of INR 82.4 crore for FY 2024-25.

The India portfolio covers manned guarding, cash management, electronic security systems, facilities management, training, event security, security consultancy and risk management, central monitoring and recruitment services. Clients span banking, BPO, retail, healthcare, aviation, diplomatic missions and infrastructure. G4S India picked up two 2025 India and South Asia OSPAs, one for Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding) and one for Preeti Panhani as Outstanding Contract Security Manager or Director.

G4S Interview Questions & Answers

Q: Have you ever worked in any of the security organization?

A: Answer plainly with where you worked, the type of site and how long you were there. If you haven't worked in security before, say so and point to any job where you handled access, safety or shift discipline.

Answer by AI
  • Name the employer, the site type and your duty hours in one sentence.
  • Add one duty you owned, such as gate checks, visitor logs or patrol rounds.
  • If you're new to security, connect a past job to attention, punctuality or crowd handling.

Q: Write a statement made by a criminal at a crime scene.

A: This checks whether you can record an incident in clear, factual writing. Write what was said and done in order, in plain language, without adding opinion or conclusions.

Answer by AI
  • Open with date, time, place and who was present.
  • Record words and actions in the order they happened, no guesses about motive.
  • Close with what you did next and who you reported it to, then sign and date it.

Q: India's PM name? What is your name?

A: Basic screening questions for general awareness and confidence. Answer directly and calmly, and don't over explain.

Answer by AI
  • Give your full name as it appears on your ID documents.
  • Answer the general knowledge question in one short line.
  • Keep eye contact and a steady tone, since the panel is reading composure here.

Q: About basic of security, about airport hazards and risk, about ethic and behaviours.

A: Cover the three areas separately: what security work protects, what can go wrong at an aviation site, and how you behave on duty. Keep each part short and specific.

Answer by AI
  • Define security as protecting people, property and information through access control, patrol and reporting.
  • For aviation, mention unattended baggage, restricted area breaches, crowd pressure and airside vehicle movement.
  • On ethics, talk about not accepting favours, logging everything and escalating rather than covering up.
