KPMG is one of the Big Four professional services networks, providing audit and assurance, tax and legal, and advisory services. The network operates through member firms in more than 140 countries and territories, coordinated by KPMG International Limited, a private English company limited by guarantee headquartered at 15 Canada Square in London. Member firms are legally separate entities, and KPMG International itself doesn't provide services to clients.
For the financial year ended 30 September 2025, KPMG reported globally aggregated revenues of US$39.8 billion, a rise of 5.1% in local currency terms. Tax and Legal Services grew fastest at 7.5%, followed by Audit at 6.0% and Advisory at 2.9%. Global headcount reached 276,030, up 1.8% year on year. Bill Thomas has been Global Chairman and CEO since 2017, and Gary Wingrove, currently Global Chief Operating Officer, takes over on 1 October 2026 for a four-year term.
KPMG in India was established in August 1993 and works from 19 office locations including Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Noida and Kolkata. Yezdi Nagporewalla is Chief Executive Officer and was re-appointed in August 2025 for a second three-year term starting February 2027, with Ajay Mehra as Non-Executive Chairman. The India practice covers advisory, tax, deal advisory, managed services and AI services, and one of its main operating entities, KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP, is registered in Mumbai under LLPIN AAT-0367.
