Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. is a US hospitality company listed on the NYSE as HLT. Conrad Hilton founded it in 1919 in Cisco, Texas, and the corporate headquarters sit in the McLean and Tysons area of Virginia. The group runs 28 brands covering more than 9,200 properties and over 1.3 million rooms across 144 countries and territories, from Waldorf Astoria and Conrad at the luxury end through Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton.
The business runs on two segments: management and franchising, and ownership. Most of the portfolio is managed or franchised rather than owned, so revenue comes largely from fees. Total revenues reached $12.04 billion in FY2025, up from $11.17 billion in FY2024, with net income of $1,461 million and adjusted EBITDA of $3,725 million. Hilton added 97,000 rooms during 2025 for net unit growth of 6.7 percent and closed the year with a record pipeline of 520,500 rooms. Headcount is about 182,000.
In India, Hilton runs a regional office at DLF Cyber City in Gurugram and has a registered entity, Hilton Hotels Management India Private Limited, incorporated in Delhi in October 2018. India is one of the company's fastest-growing markets. Hilton has signed strategic agreements to develop 150 Spark by Hilton hotels and, in April 2026, 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels with Regenta Hotels, part of Royal Orchid Hotels, targeting western and southern India by 2035. Hiring in India spans hotel operations, food and beverage, housekeeping, finance, HR and commercial roles across Gurugram, Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Lucknow.
