Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a hospitality company founded on September 27, 1957 and headquartered at 150 N Riverside Plaza in Chicago, Illinois. It trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker H. As of December 31, 2025 the portfolio covered 1,528 properties and 372,763 rooms across 83 countries, spanning brands such as Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Andaz, Alila, Thompson, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House and JdV by Hyatt, plus the World of Hyatt loyalty programme.
Full year 2025 revenues were $7.10 billion, up 6.81% on 2024, with adjusted EBITDA of $1,159 million and a net loss of $52 million attributable to the company. Net rooms growth was 7.3% for the year, helped by the Playa Hotels and Resorts acquisition completed in June 2025. In the first quarter of 2026 Hyatt reported net income of $38 million, comparable system-wide RevPAR growth of 5.4% and a pipeline of about 151,000 rooms. The 2025 annual report describes roughly 242,000 colleagues worldwide, with about 50,000 directly employed by Hyatt.
In India, Hyatt operates through Hyatt India Consultancy Private Limited, a company incorporated in October 2007 with its registered office in Sector 58, Gurgaon, which reported revenue of Rs 226.29 crore in FY2025. Hyatt runs 55 hotels across nine brands in India and Southwest Asia and created a dedicated President, India and Southwest Asia role in April 2026. Hiring in India is concentrated in hotel operations roles across Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Chandigarh and Kolkata.
