Income Insurance Limited is a Singapore composite insurer that sells life, health and general insurance along with savings and investment products. It started in 1970 as a co-operative under the National Trades Union Congress and was restructured into a public non-listed company limited by shares in 2022, with NTUC Enterprise as majority shareholder. The company serves more than 1.4 million customers in Singapore and holds an S&P Global Ratings financial strength rating of AA- with a stable outlook, held since 2009.
FY2025 was a rebound year. Profit after tax rose 165% to S$118.9 million for the year ended 31 December 2025, total assets increased to S$44.7 billion, and net asset value per share reached S$32.66. The board proposed total ordinary and special dividends of S$1.063 per share, which the CEO described as the highest in the past decade. Because the company isn't listed, there is no market capitalisation, and share liquidity runs through a private exchange programme managed by an independent third party.
The product range covers health, life and personal accident cover, savings and investment-linked plans, travel, motor, home, pet and domestic helper policies, and group and commercial lines for businesses. Income also runs community programmes including Income OrangeAid and the Income Eco Run, and markets inclusive products such as personal accident cover for young people with autism and Down syndrome and a seniors plan with entry up to age 75. Headcount sits at roughly 2,500 people, almost entirely based in Singapore across offices at Bras Basah Road, Tampines and Paya Lebar.
