It was formed on 16 June 2009 when Singapore Changi Airport was corporatised, and it's wholly owned by the Singapore Government through the Minister for Finance Incorporated. The company also manages Seletar Airport and, through its subsidiary Changi Airports International, invests in and advises foreign airports.
As airport manager, CAG handles airport operations, air hub development, retail and commercial activities, infrastructure development, and airport emergency services. It's headquartered at 60 Airport Boulevard in Changi Airport Terminal 2, Singapore, and employs more than 2,000 staff across its business functions. The group runs four operational passenger terminals and is developing the Changi East project, which includes the future Terminal 5 and a third runway.
For the financial year ended 31 March 2025, the group reported revenue of SGD 3.07 billion and profit after tax of SGD 831 million, with profit attributable to the equity holder of about SGD 841 million. Leadership includes Chairman Lim Ming Yan, who took over on 1 April 2025, and Chief Executive Officer Yam Kum Weng, appointed on 1 July 2024. As a government-owned private company, CAG isn't listed on any stock exchange and has no market capitalisation.

Changi eyes new direct routes to India, Vietnam and Central Asia ahead of Terminal 5
CAG plans to expand its direct-flight network over the next decade, targeting underserved cities such as Banda Aceh, Hai Phong, Almaty and Tashkent as it prepares for Terminal 5's mid-2030s opening. Terminal 5 will lift annual capacity from about 90 million to 140 million passengers.

CAG revenue up 6% but net profit falls 23% for year ended March 2026
Changi Airport Group reported revenue of SGD 3.3 billion (up 6%) and handled 70.4 million passengers (up 2.9%) for FY2025/26. Net profit fell 23% to SGD 648 million as operating costs rose 14% with regulatory contributions and service fees resuming.

Changi named world's best airport by Skytrax for the 14th time

Changi deploys first fully driverless autonomous tractors for airside operations
CAG launched its first fleet of driverless autonomous baggage tractors between Terminal 1 and Terminal 4 after nearly a year of trials covering more than 5,000 trips. Six more units are planned for Terminal 2 later in 2026, scaling towards 24 vehicles by 2027.
