DHL is the logistics division and flagship brand of Deutsche Post AG, which trades publicly as DHL Group. The group is headquartered in Bonn, Germany, at the Post Tower, and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (XETRA: DHL) as a component of both the DAX and Euro Stoxx 50 indices under ISIN DE0005552004. The DHL brand dates to 1969, when it was founded in San Francisco by Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom, and Robert Lynn; the parent Deutsche Post AG was incorporated in 1995.
The group operates across more than 220 countries and territories and employs roughly 580,000 people. For 2024 it reported revenue of about EUR 84.19 billion. DHL ramps up New Energy logistics, with EV facilities planned for India
DHL Group said it aims to grow New Energy logistics revenue from around EUR 600 million in 2025 to EUR 3 billion by 2030, and plans to launch new EV and battery Centres of Excellence in India and Peru later in the year. India's first phase focuses on inbound battery logistics through a Free Trade Warehouse Zone in Chennai.

DHL Supply Chain India adds two million sq ft of warehousing yearly
As part of the EUR 1 billion India plan, DHL Supply Chain India said it adds about two million square feet of multi-client warehouse space each year, and now runs more than 700 electric vehicles locally. Over 9,000 customers have enrolled in its GoGreen Plus sustainability programme.

DHL Group to invest around EUR 1 billion in India by 2030
DHL Group announced plans to invest about EUR 1 billion across its India business units between 2026 and 2030, targeting life sciences and healthcare, new energy, e-commerce and digitalization. Blue Dart launches India's largest low-emission logistics hub in Delhi
Blue Dart, DHL Group's India express arm, opened a 250,000 sq ft integrated operating facility in Bijwasan, Delhi, able to handle over 550,000 shipments daily. The hub runs on a 600 kW solar installation and sits near the Dwarka Expressway and Indira Gandhi International Airport.

DHL Express introduced its first automated sorting hub in New Delhi, spanning 34,256 sq ft with capacity to sort 2,000 pieces per hour, a 30 percent productivity gain. The facility uses 18 sorting chutes, 11 truck docks and 8 telescopic conveyors to speed export handling.
