Fox Corporation is a US media and broadcasting company formed on March 19, 2019 from the assets of Twenty-First Century Fox that weren't sold to Disney. It trades on Nasdaq under FOXA (Class A) and FOX (Class B), and it's headquartered at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan, with further operations in Burbank and Los Angeles, California. Lachlan K. Murdoch is Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer, and the Murdoch family trust controls roughly 36% of the voting shares.
The company runs five main business units: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. Tubi Media Group holds the digital portfolio, which includes Tubi, FOX One, Red Seat Ventures, AdRise and Credible, along with product engineering, R&D and the Office of the CTO. Fox reported revenue of $16.30 billion for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, and about 10,400 employees as of 2025.
Fox is pushing hard into streaming and advertising technology. In June 2026 it agreed to acquire Roku for $160.00 per share in cash and stock, an enterprise value of roughly $22 billion, which would pair Fox's live sports and news content with Roku's connected TV platform. It also launched an agentic advertising platform built on FOX AdStudio and picked up a live NFL game package in Mexico starting in fall 2026.
