Haleon plc is a British consumer healthcare company headquartered in Weybridge, England. It was created on 18 July 2022 when GSK demerged its consumer health business, and it now trades on both the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker HLN. The portfolio covers oral health, pain relief, respiratory health, digestive health and vitamins, with brands including Sensodyne, Panadol, Centrum, Advil, parodontax, Voltaren and Aquafresh.

The company reported revenue of £11.03 billion for FY2025 with 3% organic growth, and a market capitalisation of about £32.2 billion in July 2026. It employs roughly 24,500 people worldwide. Under its Win as One strategy Haleon reorganised into six operating units and set a goal of reaching one billion more consumers by 2030. Recent corporate moves include Pfizer's full exit from its shareholding in March 2025 and the sale of the nicotine replacement therapy business to Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in September 2024.

India is one of Haleon's fastest-growing markets and became a standalone operating unit in 2026, led by Kedar Lele as President, India Subcontinent. In June 2026 the company announced roughly £175 million (about Rs 2,000 crore) of capital spending on its first Indian manufacturing site, a greenfield oral health plant in Madhya Pradesh, due to open in early 2028 and create up to 500 jobs. Haleon's Indian teams sit across Gurugram, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Haleon Interview Questions & Answers

Q: Do you like overtime?

A: Be honest about your availability instead of over-promising. Say what you can commit to reliably and mention any shift or overtime experience you already have.

Answer by AI
  • State your real availability clearly, including notice you'd need for extra shifts.
  • Point to past shift or overtime work to show you can handle the hours safely.
  • Ask how overtime is scheduled and paid so expectations are set on both sides.

Q: Describe the analytical lab equipment and techniques you have worked with.

A: Walk through the instruments you've operated hands-on, the sample types you ran and what you were measuring. Separate what you ran independently from what you assisted on.

Answer by AI
  • List techniques by depth, starting with what you run unsupervised day to day.
  • For each instrument, name the sample matrix and the analysis you performed.
  • Mention method development, troubleshooting or calibration work if you've done it.

Q: How thorough are you with your lab notebook documentation?

A: Describe your actual documentation habits: contemporaneous entries, signed and dated pages, and traceable raw data. Give one example where good records helped resolve an issue.

Answer by AI
  • Explain that you record as you work, not afterwards, so data stays contemporaneous.
  • Cover traceability: instrument IDs, lot numbers, method versions, corrections initialled.
  • Close with a short example where your records settled a query or an audit finding.

Q: Do you have GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience?

A: Say plainly whether you've worked in a GMP environment and at what level. If you haven't, describe the closest regulated or quality-controlled setting you've worked in and how quickly you picked up the procedures.

Answer by AI
  • Answer yes or no first, then qualify with the type of GMP setting and your role in it.
  • Reference concrete practices: SOP adherence, deviation handling, change control, audits.
  • If your GMP exposure is limited, show transferable discipline from another regulated setting.
