Its relationship with India dates to 1912. The first Indian factory opened at Moga in 1961, and the company now has nine manufacturing facilities plus branch offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

Nestlé India reported FY2024-25 revenue from operations of ₹20,201.6 crore, including domestic sales of ₹19,292.7 crore and export sales of ₹784.8 crore.
