Intuit Inc. is a US financial software company founded in 1983 in Palo Alto, California by Scott Cook and Tom Proulx. It's listed on Nasdaq under the ticker INTU and is headquartered at 2700 Coast Ave in Mountain View, California. The company builds financial management, payments, compliance and marketing products, and it's best known for TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, Mailchimp and ProConnect.
The business runs across four reporting segments: Global Business Solutions (QuickBooks), Consumer, Credit Karma and ProTax. Intuit reported $18.83 billion in revenue for fiscal 2025 with about 18,200 employees, and in May 2026 it raised full year fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $21.341 billion to $21.374 billion. Its market capitalisation stood at roughly $77.8 billion in July 2026.
Intuit has had an India presence in Bengaluru since 2005. The main Indian entity, Intuit India Product Development Centre Private Limited (CIN U72200KA2010PTC055461), was incorporated on 12 October 2010 and sits at Pritech Park, Ecospace, Bellandur Village, Bangalore 560103. It reported revenue of Rs 3,236.7 Cr in FY2025 and 1,860 employees as of February 2026, and it owns a second entity, Intuit India Software Solutions Private Limited.
