Genpact Limited is a professional services and business process management company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker G. It started in 1997 as GE Capital International Services, a GE unit set up in Gurgaon, India, and was spun out as an independent company before its IPO on August 2, 2007. The company is domiciled in Bermuda, headquartered in New York City, and runs delivery centres in more than 30 countries.
The business reports in two parts. Advanced Technology Solutions covers data, AI and agentic engineering work. Core Business Services covers finance and accounting, supply chain, sourcing and procurement, HR operations, customer service and industry-specific processing. In the first quarter of 2026 Genpact posted net revenues of $1.296 billion, up 6.7% year over year, with Advanced Technology Solutions growing 24.3% and reaching 27% of total revenue. Trailing twelve month revenue stood at about $5.16 billion in July 2026.
India is still the company's largest operating base. Genpact India Private Limited, incorporated on February 10, 2005, reported roughly Rs 13,812 crore of revenue in FY2025 and around 82,262 employees, out of a global workforce of more than 140,000. Indian sites include Gurugram, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Madurai. Genpact also builds and runs global capability centres in India for clients such as Nestle.
