Singlife is a homegrown Singapore financial services company offering life, medical, critical illness, disability, accident, investment, savings and retirement products. It also supports group insurance schemes for MINDEF, MHA and public officers.
The business began in 2014 and became the first local insurer licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore since 1970. Singlife and Aviva Singapore completed their merger in 2022, and Singlife became a wholly owned Sumitomo Life subsidiary in 2024.
Singlife moved more than 1,200 employees into a 74,000-square-foot Marina One workplace in January 2026. Its FY2025 sustainability report recorded 1,333 permanent employees in Singapore and an average of 44.6 training hours per employee.
