Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is a US mutual insurance and financial services organization headquartered at One Nationwide Plaza in Columbus, Ohio. It traces its first policy to 1926, when it operated as Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.

Nationwide serves individuals, businesses and institutions through property and casualty insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, annuities, mutual funds and specialty products. The organization adopted the Nationwide name in 1955.
