No installation is required — Hyring Meet runs entirely in your web browser.
For candidates
There is no app to download. When your interview is scheduled, you'll receive a link (by email and/or calendar invite) to join the session. At the scheduled time, simply click that link and the interview opens directly in your browser — no software, plugin, or account setup needed on your end.
Before your interview, we recommend:
Using an up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari
Allowing camera and microphone access when your browser prompts you
Joining from a stable internet connection
Finding a quiet, well-lit space, since the session is recorded and evaluated
Hyring Meet is a complete virtual interview platform, not just a notetaker bolted onto Zoom or Google Meet. You join through the browser — there's nothing to install.
Why no app is needed
Because everything — scheduling, the live video call, recording, transcription, and scoring — happens inside Hyring Meet's own browser-based platform, there's no separate meeting app, browser extension, or notetaker bot to add to your calendar. This keeps the process simple for candidates, who only ever need to click one link, and keeps every interview on a consistent, comparable structure for recruiters.
Still having trouble joining?
If you're unable to access the interview link, check that you're using a supported browser and that camera/microphone permissions haven't been blocked.
