A real person leads the conversation, the AI works quietly in the background.

When you're invited to a Hyring Meet interview, your recruiter or hiring manager is the one asking the questions, listening to your answers, and deciding how the conversation flows. Hyring Meet is not an AI bot that interviews you; it's an AI notetaker that joins the call as a silent copilot, so the human interviewer never has to split their attention between talking to you and typing notes.

Here's what's actually happening during the call: while you and your interviewer talk naturally, Hyring Meet listens in and automatically produces a full, speaker-separated transcript of the conversation. It takes structured notes mapped to the specific skills the role is being assessed against, so nothing important gets lost or misremembered later. It also generates a technical score with a per-question breakdown, a communication score covering fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and a rating for each individual skill tested. On top of that, it tracks overall sentiment and emotion across the interview and runs integrity checks flagging things like tab changes, multiple faces or voices, or eye-gaze and lip-sync issues to help keep the process fair for everyone.

None of this changes what the interview feels like from your side. You're simply having a normal conversation with a human being who is genuinely evaluating you; the AI is just handling the busywork of writing everything up afterward so the interviewer can stay present with you instead of buried in a notes doc.

After your interview ends, two records are created: an AI-generated report holding the scores, per-skill ratings, sentiment analysis, transcript, and recording, and a separate scorecard filled in by the human interviewer with their own rating and comments. Hiring decisions are made by people, using the AI's structured summary as a reference point rather than a replacement for human judgment.

It's worth noting that Hyring does offer a separate, fully AI-led product called the AI Video Interviewer, which is used for high-volume first-round screening where no human is on the call. That is a different tool for a different stage of hiring. If you've been scheduled specifically for a Hyring Meet session, you can count on a real person leading the interview, with the AI simply making sure nothing you say gets lost along the way.
