Don't panic, and don't assume the interview is over.
Hyring Meet interviews are live calls with a real person, and your interviewer can see that you have dropped. Open your interview link again and rejoin - in most cases you can pick the conversation back up where it stopped. Request your interviewer for a new link, or interview, if the old one provided to you has expired.
If you cannot get back in at all, do not worry, your interviewer may be able to move it at your request. You can request a reschedule, and they can approve it without any extra tooling on their side.
The quickest route is usually to message your recruiter, tell them your connection dropped, and ask for a new slot. A dropped connection is common and forgivable - it is not read as a failed interview.
A Hyring Meet interview is only scored on what you said, a few lost seconds are worth flagging when you rejoin. If a question was cut off mid-answer, say so and offer to answer it again rather than hoping the gap goes unnoticed.
Two things not to do. Don't retry silently for twenty minutes - after a couple of attempts, message your recruiter so they know you are still trying rather than absent. And if you dropped near the end, don't assume the whole interview restarts; ask whether they would rather finish the last part in a short follow-up call.
A short checklist before the call saves most of this trouble:
Connection: use the most stable one you have, wired if possible. MAke sure you have a stable connection with speeds that support upwards of 25 Mbps.
Browser: update it beforehand so it doesn't try to update mid-interview.
Camera and microphone: test both a few minutes early, not at the moment you join. If it is blurry or not working as well as it should, try clearing your cache or restarting your computer.
Backup: keep your recruiter's email or phone number to hand, so you have a way to reach a human if the call itself fails.
Join five minutes early where you can. It gives you room to fix a dead microphone before it starts eating into your interview time.
