Scheduling starts from the role itself, not a blank form. Open the relevant job posting and start an interview directly from there. Hyring Meet uses the role's job description as the basis for the session instead of asking you to build one from scratch each time. Once you're in the create-interview flow, you pick a date, set the time zone, and add the candidate along with one or more interviewers.
After you save the schedule, you can sync it to Google Calendar with a single click, and the corresponding event is created automatically on that calendar. From there, both the candidate and the interviewer(s) are notified by email as soon as the schedule is confirmed, and you don't need to draft or send a separate confirmation message from your side, or manually add anyone to a calendar invite yourself.
This is designed to compress what would normally be several separate steps (writing an invite, checking time zones, sending a calendar hold, following up to confirm) into one flow that happens the moment you hit save. For recruiters running a high volume of interviews across multiple roles, that matters more than it might seem: the time saved on scheduling logistics adds up quickly across a hiring pipeline with dozens of candidates a week.
If you ever need to double-check exactly how scheduling is configured for your account, for instance which calendar is linked or which interviewers are available to add, that's visible directly on the create-interview screen in your dashboard.
