Every live interview run through Hyring Meet produces a recording, a full transcript, structured notes, and the AI-generated scorecard. How long that record stays in your account depends on your subscription plan (Free, Pro, Business or Enterprise), the same way it does across the rest of the Hyring platform. Enterprise plans support custom retention, set to match your organization's compliance needs. For the exact window on your plan, email hello@hyring.com.

The recording, transcript, and AI report for an interview are stored together as one record, so they follow the same retention window under your plan; you won't have a transcript outlive its recording or vice versa. Once the retention period for your plan ends, the interview data is automatically removed from active storage.

A few things can change that timeline. If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, new interviews are retained under the new plan's window going forward. Data can also be deleted earlier than the standard window: an employer can request deletion of a specific interview or their full account's data at any time, and a candidate can request deletion of their own interview data as well. In either case, once the request is verified, the recording, transcript, notes, and scorecard tied to that interview are permanently removed. Account termination also triggers deletion of the interview data associated with that account, subject to any records Hyring is legally required to retain.

If your organization needs a longer or shorter retention window than your current plan provides — for example, to match an internal records-retention policy or a regional labor law — Enterprise plans support a custom schedule, and our team can also help you configure retention or set up early deletion workflows on other plans. To request deletion of an interview, a candidate's data, or your account, email hello@hyring.com and we'll process it once verified.

One note for compliance-heavy teams: because retention windows are storage limits, not consent records, they don't replace your own obligations around recording consent and data retention in the regions where you hire. We'd recommend confirming those requirements with your legal or compliance team before rolling out live-interview recording broadly, and using the custom Enterprise retention option if your policy requires holding records longer, or deleting them sooner, than the standard plan windows above.
